Hi,

Based on my understanding you should be able to install and run Mileage Stats RI on a Windows Server 2008 installation by installing the requirements and following the steps mentioned in the Readme chapter of the Silk documentation. Also, I believe you should check the Known Issues section at the end of this chapter.

Please lets us know if you encountered any error when following this,

In theory the process I'm following, according to the readme file, even the Known Issues part of the URI is not in the Web.config file

When publishing in IIS the system works .. the difference is that it occurs errors and redirect the error page, and styles fail to work .. as it lacked any extra configuration in IIS server

thanks

Hi,

I believe you could try installing the IIS Recommended Configuration from the  Web Platform Installer like mentioned in this blog post.

In my case I could run Milage Stats without problems, using the Local IIS Web Server in a Windows Server 2008R2 installation, after installing the IIS Recommended Configuration, and also I have to run the aspnet_regiis -i command as mentioned in the Known Issues section, to avoid the "ASP.NET 4.0 has not been registered on the Web server error..."

Additionally, I remembered that when running on Windows Server 2008 installations, you may also have to install the "Desktop Experience" feature as mentioned in the following work item:

I hope you find this handy,
